Jacqui Grantland received her Bachelors Degree from University of Maryland majoring in Psychology and a Masters Degree in Education from Texas Tech University majoring in Community Counseling. She currently works in a group private practice in Fayetteville, North Carolina treating clients of all ages and stages of life. She has received specialty training in EMDR and is also a Certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider. She is currently licensed in New Mexico and North Carolina as a Licensed Professional Counselor.

Her specialties include Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Domestic violence and Sexual Assault, Military Issues, child/adolescent issues, relationship issues, anger management, depression, Bi-polar disorder, and anxiety. Her previous work experience includes counseling at-risk children and adolescents with emotional, behavioral, and mental disorders placed in Therapeutic Foster Care and Residential group homes, working for the Shelter for Victims of Domestic Violence both as a domestic violence advocate and a domestic violence clinical counselor, and working with the department of social services. Prior to becoming a counselor, Jacqui served eight years in the Air Force, she now is a military spouse and understands the unique challenges of the military community. She is a member of the American Counseling Association, Licensed Professional Counselor Association of North Carolina, and the National Board of Certified Counselor.

Jacqui's theoretical orientation is Eclectic with emphasis on Cognitive- Behavioral/Solution Focused and Client Centered Theory. As an eclectic counselor she believes that no single theory can effectively treat all the different emotional, behavioral, and mental disorders. As your counselor she will apply the best theoretical orientation based on your specific needs and issues.
