Jean earned her Masters Degree in counseling from the University of Wisconsin and undergraduate degrees in both psychology and nutrition. She is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and a registered dietitian (RD), with over 20 years experience.

She has owned and operated her own mental health clinic and has worked with individuals, couples and groups, with an expertise with the teen population. Jean specializes in eating disorders such as anorexia, bulimia and compulsive overeaters. In addition, she works with clients who self-injure and have a history of sexual abuse.

Jean has worked as a consultant to an eating disorders inpatient facility, as a board member to a woman’s shelter and has been an instructor at the university level.

She is currently writing her dissertation and finishing a PhD in counseling studies from Capella University.
