Lauren Sullivan is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of New Jersey. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from St. Peter’s College and a Master of Arts degree in Counseling & Human Services with a concentration in substance abuse counseling from Montclair State University. She is also a Certified Prevention Specialist and a member of the American Counseling Association.

Lauren has worked in the mental health field for over ten years in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Her experience includes psychotherapy (for adults, adolescents, and children), substance abuse counseling, group facilitation, parenting skills training and anger-management training. Lauren has a part-time private practice and is also currently employed at an urban, multi-cultural counseling center as a Program Coordinator.

Lauren offers effective treatment for depression (including post-partum depression), anxiety, relationship problems, stress, parenting issues, family conflict, grief & loss, abuse & trauma, and substance abuse related issues. She utilizes an eclectic, client-centered approach to therapy.
