Rebecca (Becky) Lothe is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Minnesota, previously also in Wisconsin. She received both a Bachelors Degree in Education and a Masters Degree in Counseling from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. She is a member of the American Counseling Association.

Becky began her career over 18 years ago in the Employee Assistance and Wellness Program at CUNA Mutual Insurance Group in Madison, WI. During that same time, she also provided career counseling, testing and training for the Job Service Division of the Department of Labor and Human Relations. Since that time Becky has worked in juvenile justice, with homeless and runaway youth, in community mental health programs, as a school based therapist with elementary school children, in colleges, in an adult day hospital program, in managed care and in outpatient private practice. She currently provides mental health and disability services in a college setting and is starting a private practice.

Becky works with individuals (children and adult), couples, families and groups. She uses cognitive behavioral strategies with a solution focused emphasis. She is very interactive and provides caring, straight forward feedback and practical strength-based approaches aimed at promoting self-awareness, healing, positive coping and effective change.

In addition to providing therapeutic counseling services, Becky has developed educational programs in time management, stress management, marriage after children, co-parenting after divorce, and parenting children with Asperger’s Syndrome.
