Specialties: Women's issues, breast cancer survivors

Ruth began her career 30 years ago working as a counselor at a mental health inpatient unit. For the past 27 years, she has worked at a mental health clinic helping men, women, children, couples and families who have issues relating to depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, anger and relationship problems.

Ruth uses an eclectic approach to counseling with her primary therapeutic approach being cognitive behavioral techniques. She currently specializes in women's issues, particularly with women who have a history of sexual abuse. Ruth is a breast cancer survivor and has an interest in working with other survivors.

Ruth received both her Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and her Masters Degree in Community Counseling from St. Bonaventure University.
