Tammy received both her Bachelors Degree in Family Life Education and Masters Degree in Counseling from Spring Arbor University. She is currently working on a Doctoral Degree from Northcentral University. She is a Certified Family Life Educator and has interned in family settings involving women’s issues and teenage pregnancies. She has also worked in a hospital setting on a substance abuse/addiction unit. Professional associations include the American Counseling Association and the National Family Council on Family Relations. She is a trained American Red Cross Disaster Volunteer, and Domestic Violence Client Support Volunteer.

Tammy’s practice includes internet counseling locally in Michigan as well as globally. Her therapeutic approach encompasses a wide range of theories. Although cognitive behavioral, person-centered, and family systems are the primary models used, she has also found success with Adlerian, existential, and reality-choice therapy.
